Seeking Success in an emerging leadership program for sophomores and juniors. Participants must submit an application and a resume. Participation in First-Year 15 is not a prerequisite.

With the motto of Cultivating Readiness and Influential Leadership, this program aims to help upperclassmen further hone their leadership and peer mentorship skills. Focusing on developing transferable skills needed for future careers, helping participants articulate their purpose and vision for the future, and empowering the participants to facilitate difficult conversations through the scope of peer mentorship, this program doubles as an emerging leadership program and a training platform for our Peer Leadership Mentors (PLMs).

Once trained through Seeking Success, our PLMs will facilitate roundtables for our First-Year 15 Fellows, as well as are responsible for creating a retreat experience for the FY15 Fellows. Participants are eligible to apply for this opportunity in September and sessions begin in mid-September. Themes cover different areas of leadership including conflict management, competency building, values and vision, service, ethical decision-making, storytelling, branding, facilitation, and public speaking. Once students complete the Seeking Success program by November, they transition into Leadership 360, and serve as our PLMs and help to peer mentor and facilitate activities, trainings, weekend experiences, and roundtables for our first-years in the spring.
